Since his 18th birthday, Randys been having dirty dreams about not only his sister, Haley, but his mother, too. He feels guilty, and thinks something is wrong with him. That is, until Haley and Mom tell him the family secret: that his parents and sister have been having sex together since Haley had the same dreams hes had. There is an age-old family tradition, and Randy is about to become part of it! ----- Excerpt ----- They sat there in silence, mom looking relaxed and Randy caught between being nervous about what Haley would say along with trying to keep his eyes off his mother who was as dressed the same way his sister had been. He jumped at a knock on the door and mom called, Come in, honey. Haley entered the room and to Randys mixed dismay and relief she was still dressed in her skimpy little pink ensemble from earlier. In a way it was bad because now he had both of them here to try not to look at, but at least mom could see what she was wearing. Whats up, mom? Haley asked, while giving him a mischievous smile, like this was exactly what she wanted. Come here. Mom patted the bed next to her and Haley obediently say next to her. This left Randy struggling to not look at both sets of bare legs as well as their breasts, he focused on moms face as she spoke. Your brother tells me you were acting pretty naughty in his room is that true? Naughty? Randy muttered, Thats grown up? Fine. Mom winked at him, Your brother said youre dressed like a slut and were acting like one. I didnt say that. He spoke up. You implied it. Mom said, But Im talking to your sister. That true Haley? I was wearing this. Haley stood up and did a slow turn for her mother, showing off her outfit. I see. That is kind improper for your brother, no? She asked as Haley sat back down next to her. Not really, were family after all. A close family, right, mom? Haley had the same look on her face as mom did, like she was trying not to laugh. Randy began to wonder if this wasnt some kind of joke the two of them were playing, but mom would never screw with him like this. Were very close. Mom kissed her cheek and put her hand on Haleys upper thigh. Haley giggled and put her hand over moms which stayed on her leg. Randys eyes widened at the sight and he desperately tried to not read anything dirty into an affectionate gesture by their mother. But, Mom continued, Dressing like this is one thing, but Randy tells me you showed him your breasts? You little rat. Haley sighed. Did you? Mom pressed, Yes, mama. Haley nodded, I took my shirt off to show off for my brother. Is that so? Mom stared at her, And what did he think of them? What? Randy asked, What kind of question is that?

He wrote it very quickly - in three weeks. I wanted to show a man from the basement, a man from the dungeon. Dostoevsky created many wonderful things: The Brothers Karamazov, The Poor People, The Adolescent, The Double, The Uncles Dream, The Notes from the Dead House, The Others Wife and Husband Under the Bed, The Grand Inquisitor, Notes from the Underground, Weak Heart. The significance of Dostoevskys work for world literature and philosophy is difficult to overestimate. Excerpt: How the wind is rising! said Rosamond.God help the poor people at sea to-night! Her brother Godfrey smiled. One would think, said he, that she had an argosy of lovers at sea, uninsured. You gentlemen, replied Rosamond, imagine that ladies are always thinking of lovers. Not always, said Godfrey; only when they show themselves particularly disposed to humanity. My humanity, on the present occasion, cannot even be suspected, said Rosamond; for you know, alas! that I have no lover at sea or land.
THE SULTAN AND HIS VOW It is written in the chronicles of the Sassanian monarchs that there once lived an illustrious prince, beloved by his own subjects for his wisdom and his prudence, and feared by his enemies for his courage and for the hardy and well-disciplined army of which he was the leader. This prince had two sons, the elder called Schah-riar, and the younger Schah-zenan, both equally good and deserving of praise. When the old king died at the end of a long and glorious reign, Schah-riar, his eldest son, ascended the throne and reigned in his stead. Schah-zenan, however, was not in the least envious, and a friendly contest soon arose between the two brothers as to which could best promote the happiness of the other. Schah-zenan did all he could to show his loyalty and affection, while the new sultan loaded his brother with all possible honors, and in order that he might in some degree share the sultans power and wealth, bestowed on him the kingdom of Great Tartary. Schah-zenan immediately went to take possession of the empire allotted him, and fixed his residence at Samarcand, the chief city. After a separation of ten years Schah-riar so ardently desired to see his brother, that he sent his first vizier,1 with a splendid embassy, to invite him to revisit his court. As soon as Schah-zenan was informed of the approach of the vizier, he went out to meet him, with all his ministers, in most magnificent dress, and inquired after the health of the sultan, his brother. Having replied to these affectionate inquiries, the vizier told the purpose of his coming. Schah-zenan, who was much affected at the kindness and recollection of his brother, then addressed the vizier in these words: Sage vizier, the sultan, my brother, does me too much honor. It is impossible that his wish to see me can exceed my desire of again beholding him. You have come at a happy moment. My kingdom is tranquil, and in ten days time I will be ready to depart with you. Meanwhile pitch your tents on this spot, and I will order every refreshment and accommodation for you and your whole train.

And I have other sheep, that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd. For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again; this Charge I have received from my Father Jn 10 vs 16 - 18. Humanity needs the two Hearts of Love, Jesus and Mary. May we hurt them no more. When we hurt them we hurt ourselves. May we love them and stop sin.
At the time of his death, my brother had proceeded but a little way in this task which he and I began together, and I must frankly own my inability to cope with it on the lines which he would doubtless have followed. It is probable, for example, that his unrivalled knowledge of the memories, legends, ballads, and nature of the Border would have led him to show various important events in a light different from that in which my less intimate acquaintance with the past has enabled me to speak of them; whilst, as regards the Ballad literature of the Border, I cannot pretend to that expert knowledge which he possessed, I do not think, therefore, it is fitting that I should attempt to carry out his intention to deal more fully with those of the Ballads which are most closely connected with places treated of in this volume.
Collection of thematic stories, which includes the story The Jester and the Troubadour. The action of this story takes place in the Middle Ages in the conventional European country. Even in those cruel times, when the right of the strong reigned everywhere, there was valor and honor, friendship and devotion and real chivalry. Traveling knight and troubadour Christian Randery, faced with the injustice and cruelty of the powerful Earl of Robert Leo, takes under his protection the daughter of the murdered baron and her half-brother, whom the winner-count made him become a jester. The history of the life of a troubadour and a jester show that true power and courage are given to man not by power and not by physical superiority, but by strength of spirit and kindness. ?????
